V-Bar Pull-Ups For
the Lower Lats

The Pull-Up is a standard back exercise...for good reason...it's one of the best you can do!

This version of the pull-up utilizes the V- handle attachment that usually gets attached to cables for Seated Cable Rows.

Instead of using it on the cable machine, you'll instead set it on TOP of the chin-up bar and grab the handles, doing the pull-up from there.

Here's the bottom position with a full stretch.

Now here's the trick when you pull up...because you're going to be directly under the bar, you're going to have to lean WAY back as you pull up. Think of it as pulling to your sternum. It's not going to be easy but this lean back will really hit the lower lats strongly.

That's the exercise! Having the hands in a neutral position like this is also easier on the shoulders. Easy set up and great exercise.
