Every Saturday Morning the calm
break in the nice little quite neighborhood that holds the
Bed & Barbell www.bedandbarbell.com
.
About 9:45 the cars start to
arrive with the lifters that we are having over for this weeks
session. A day for a nice dose of tossing Iron, cracking jokes,
trying new, sometimes questionable, things, above all working
hard and having fun.
The participants are both constant
and varied in the who and their goals. Of course Charles and
I are always present in some fashion, unless one of us has
a meet of other pressing obligation.
Aside from that two coaching group
members, Troy ( The Fiery Cannoli) Paradiso, and Gene (The Cowboy)
have become permanent invitees to the festivities. Others vary from
week to week from clients whom are staying at the B&B, to other
clients, colleagues, coaching group members and guests. All coming
to enjoy a day of hard work and carnival like atmosphere.
Just after the cars arrive so do the
neighbors. First peeking out of their blinds, OH Honey their
doing it again, Then slowly they work their way outside. Gingerly
they begin picking up their yards, doing whatever they can as an
excuse to get a glimpse of all the ruckus, commotion, and fun is
we are getting ourselves into this week.
Over the course of months they have
began to accept us, while never joining in, they have become quite
the group of supportive though not quite understanding spectators.
In general things start pretty structured,
We all come with a plan, a general mini training goal for the day
at which once that is complete anything goes. Its a bit unpredictable,
maybe controlled anarchy of sort. We all now something stupid fun
and challenging is going to happen were just never 100% sure what,
or from whom it will generate, but something never fails to come
to fruition that leave us all both wiped out from exertion and laughter.
I urge you all to take a sec, check
out the videos we post of the activities each week on the StaleyTraining
YouTube Channel. The soon to launch live interactive web cam of
the gym http://www.justin.tv/charlesstaley

Or Call Jules and book a trip to join
us for a workout 800-519-2492
